Despite being the daughter of Africa’s king of rhumba, Didi Stone isn’t just famous simply because of her father. She’s built her own brand name as a global fashion icon, model and lifestyle influencer. With over 2.3M followers on Instagram and over 550,000 on TikTok, she’s a full-time celebrity lifestylista.

Her career started at only 15 years. Shortly after which she started pursuing fashion and business studies and graduating with honors, in 2021, in Paris. Didi was first signed with Next Agency, Metropolitain, and eventually Elite Modeling Agency. By 16, she appeared on Vogue, marking the beginning of her professional modelling career in the global market. Since then she has gone to work with other high end magazines like Grazia and Vanity Fair and luxury brands such as Versace, Fendi, Dolce & Gabbana.

Didi’s bold confidence and unique fashion sense, blending African roots and European high fashion, has given her an edge. Fusing two cultural fashion worlds to build her own identity. She recognized among the “It girls” in global fashion world, by right. Her other achievements include: named L’Oréal Paris brand ambassador in 2020. In 2022, she became a National Ambassador for UNICEF, touring Africa for humanitarian projects and offering talks to young girls. Stone graced Forbes Africa cover and named her 30 under 30, in 2024.
